How to create and delete sections
This article shows you how to create and delete sections in the Template Editor via the web app and the mobile app.
Before you begin
Sections are groups of questions bunched together. They are a great way to organize questions within your templates to help you and your team progress through inspections easier and improve the reading experience for report stakeholders.

- Deleting a section also deletes any questions nested within.
- You can also convert the sections you create into repeat sections, allowing you and your team to repeat the same set of questions as many times as needed in a single inspection.
Create a section
Web app
- Log in to the Audit Branch web app.
- Select Templates from the menu on the left-hand side.
- Click the template and select Edit template in the side panel.
- Select the question where you want to insert the section.
- Click Section on the left-hand side.
- This creates a new section below with a question nested within. You can also click Add section at the bottom of the page to add a new section.
- Start typing to name the section.
- Add new questions or drag and drop existing ones into the section.
